When discussing the economy, Romney and his campaign staff emphasize the failures of Barack Obama as evidence by the frequent use of the words “president” and “Obama”. Other negative words such as “unemployment”, “failed” and “lost” were used very frequently. The overwhelming use of negative words shows how the Romney’s campaign strategy is to criticize Obama’s failures rather than sell Romney’s ability to fix the economy.

They also have a few positive words that show their strategy to send the message that the economy is improving. The words “created”, “new” and “better” exemplify this positive strategy.











I find it very interesting that the use of words and phrasings, evolves or devolves to hide, distort, confuse and brainwash the public. Over time in stead of “employers”, we now have “job creators”. Instead of citizens protesting a government or corporate official exercising their Constitutional Rights of Freedom of Assembly , Freedom of Speech and the Freedom of the Press we, have “terrorists”, “radicals”, “misguided”, and all sorts of racist and sexist terms to dismiss, discredit, divide and conquer the public, pitting one group against the other while the richest 1% continue to decry, “big government” and “stifling government regulations and taxes.” “Divide and Conquer. Has anyone challenged Romney on what his experience in the private sector and his ideas on job creation really are or will. To capitalists and “vulture capitalists” like Romney, jobs are seen as a necessary evil to get the work done to make more and more profits. Jobs are to be cut and avoided at all costs to “maximize profit” If a computer, robot or outsourcing to a low wage, unregulated factory or service center overseas, so much the better. Machines and other countries don’t have the protections and regulations on health, safety, consumer protections that this county has had paid for by taxes and fees paid for by the citizen taxpayers. You can’t have good government without taxes. You can’t have something for nothing. What the real problem is that companies and the 1% oligarch’s don’t what to pay their fair share of taxes and don’t want to spend money to protect the safety, health and well being of their workforce that creates the wealth for them. How much profit is enough? Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of a cancer cell. A cancer cell eventually kills it’s host. The purpose of government is to “check and balance” the greed and reckless pursuit of wealth and power by the rich for the common good of all.
