From January 1 to the present, sentiment toward Mitt Romney has been very different between the two major newspapers of his native home state, Michigan (Detroit Free Press) and his adopted home state of Massachussetts (Boston Globe). About half of statements in each paper are neutral, but the sentiment pattern of the other half of the statements differ dramatically. Only 18% of statements about Romney appearing in Massachusetts’ Boston Globe have been positive. One in every three statements about Romney appearing in the Boston Globe have been negative. On the other hand, Michigan’s Detroit Free Press has 37% of total statements about Romney as positive and only 18% negative.

This kind of thing has to be Romney’s undoing, eihetr in the primary race or general election. You nail him well for this latest idiocy and that excellent cartoon makes it graphically clear.
